Move a nation - Alzheimer's Memory Walk

Why is this walk so important? You might ask why. If you haven't had any inkling of what Alzheimers is except for the fact that it's a disease, think again. You should know that it's not curable, gets worse over time and it's fatal. It destroys brain cells thus causing dementia wherein there is loss of memory and other thinking abilities that affects normal day to day lives of people who have gotten it. Yes, there is no cure but there are treatments for the symptoms and with the right support, we can do something to keep on working for a cure or better ways of treating the disease.
In the Alzheimer's Memory Walk , Team captains and volunteers are needed of all ages in the nation's largest walk to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. It would only be a maximum of 2-3 miles of walk in the morning of the fall but the benefit is good and great. Join the walk and together, we move the nation.
