My Second Home

Jacksonville, Florida, USA - this my second home now. Of course, my first will always be Davao City, Philippines - my native city. I can never forget the first time I saw this place. It was from the sky inside the plane coming from Atlanta, Georgia trying to land at the airport below. I didn't see buildings and roads like what California looked like or Georgia. I saw trees. Lots of them. So I initially thought that this place was in the mountains. I was disappointed at first because I expected something else. But you know what, that feeling faded immediately and was replaced by excitement. I loved the trees. I loved the feeling of being in this place. It was definitely a promise of a new beginning. Right then, I knew that I will be happy here. And I am.

I know this is funny. I am not one of those intelligent bloggers. All I post here are light topics that to many might be irrelevant. But surprisingly, I got this rating of Genius. I don't use deep words or technical words that will make my blog belong to this category. Maybe, my grammar is incorrect or my posts are poorly written that it takes a Genius to decipher them. Lol!

It's my sister's birthday!!!

It's my older sister Vanina's birthday today, May 5th which is also Cinco De Mayo here in the US. I won't divulge how old she is here but just look at her picture and maybe you can guess it right. Leave me a message here and you'll get something from me through Paypal. Promise!

I miss her so much! If only I can fly to Dubai, Dubai, AE right this minute and see her. She's my big sister and one of the persons I look up to. She's a great sister to have and one of my best friends. She may look weak to some people but I know my sister. She's not only a softie, she's a toughie! Lol! Maybe someday, instead of me going over there, she can visit me here. I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best. wink*

*My favorite time of the day is lunch. Everyday, I enjoy eating my lunch and it's when I check my emails and stuff.

*My hero is the ordinary folk who strive everyday to make this world a better place to live in.

*My favorite right now is American Idol. I just love it!

*Yes, the two major ones are singing and blogging.

*I have been blogging since 2005 so it's 3 years now but i deleted my older blogs.

*My dream job is to be able to work at home part of the week.

*Every person has and mine is staying up late.

*I feel older due to my aching back, a result of staying up late and blogging too much.
