Breakfast for a Healthy Lifestyle

I know a lot of people who skip breakfast. We know that mornings are hectic and we just get up and go. Reasons such as busy on preparing for work or school, uninteresting food choices, hassle in food preparation and lack of hunger give us excuse for skipping it. What are the benefits of eating your breakfast everyday?

1. Breakfast is the most important meal since after sleeping all night, you need food to fuel and give you energy.

2. You will less likely to binge eat later in the day.

3. Children are more able to concentrate and learn better simply because they have the needed fuel for their brain cells.

4. It's always good to eat three meals or more a day in small, right proportions.

Try this simple breakfast fixes:

- Fruit and yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit and topped with granola
- Oatmeal in a cup and fresh fruit
- Whole grain cereal in a cup with low fat milk and fresh fruit
-Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and orange juice
-Muffins with cheease and fresh fruit
-Eggs ( scrambled, boiled, poached you can prepare anytime the night before) with whole wheat bread or brown rice and fresh fruit

Saturday Plans!

Are you a member of the police or law enforcement agency? Or perhaps in the government or in the military? I'm sure you are interested in tactical gears, accessories, vests, rigs, slings, packs, bags and anything related police gears. Now, let me inform you about LA Police Gear. They offer Tactical Assault Gear and other related products at their website. For years, they have served the community by selling top brands at low prices. They are factory authorized dealers. You can be assured that you get the best quality because the people behind LA Police Gear were police officers themselves so they truly know their product.

Anyway today, friends and I are going to do something for a friend. For weeks, we have planned and are so excited about this day. Unfortunately, I just heard yesterday that this friend already knew because one of the persons that were supposed to organize and keep it a surprise already said something. Who will be surprised? Well, maybe us instead of her. Sometimes, plans don't go as planned and become funny situations. I hope if it's not going to be fulfilled, at least it'll come out good. To me, a surprise is the best but if not, the mere fact that friends did it for you is already enough to be grateful of. I'm sure our supposed to be "surprised friend" will appreciate. :)

I hope everybody is going to have a fun-filled weekend! Ciao!

A joke from Comedy Central

This is kind of cute. :)

The Scottie Dog Who Knew Karate

There once was a young couple who lived in a town filled with crime. After three neighbors' houses had been robbed, the couple decided to get a guard dog.

So one day the wife went to the pet store and said, "I need a good guard dog."

And the clerk replied, "Sorry, we're all sold out. All we have left is this little Scottie dog. But he knows karate."

The wife didn't believe him so he said to the dog, "Karate that chair."

The dog went up to the chair and broke it into pieces, then he said to the dog, "Karate that table." The dog went up to the table and broke it in half.

So the wife bought the dog and took it home to her husband who was expecting a big guard dog. But then she told her husband that it knew karate, and he said "Karate my ass!"

CUFI "Night to Honor Israel"

Have you ever heard about the organization called Christians United for Israel or CUFI? With some research I learned that it's an organization here in America with the purpose of uniting every pro-Israel Christian individual or group that deeply love Israel to voice out and act unitedly on Israel matters that relate to Biblical issues. It was established in February 2006 by Pastor Hagee.

Now there's going to be a Night to Honor Israel banquet that will be sponsored by Zion Oil and Gas Company to honor Israel at the Third Annual Washington-Israel Summit of Christians United for Israel that will be held in Washington, DC on Tuesday night of July 22nd. Fix Auto

The people at Anaheim, CA is lucky to have auto body anaheim. They have a Customer Satisfaction Index of 98.3% that tells us that people who have already used their service are that satisfied. This business by the way is a Fix Auto Collision repair expert. If you get into an accident, they will make it a simple process for you and they guarantee an impeccable standard of service. For women like me, I would choose those body repair shops with a very good reputation. I don't know much about cars so it will give me a peace of mind.

At the beach

Morning of yesterday, my friends and I went to Jacksonville Beach without much planning. Such was a fun and relaxing time. We had a leisurely breakfast before heading out to the beach which is only a couple of minutes away from their home. I didn't get to swim unfortunately, because we hadn't planned on swimming but the walk was surprisingly great which I hadn't expected. There were many people there. It wasn't a surprise because the weather was really perfect. Good thing, it wasn't crowded. Maybe because it was still early for some people. The breeze, the sounds and the sights of surfers, children playing, people, young or old swimming, laughing and having a grand time enjoying the sun and the sand, the lifeguards bringing some feeling of security and the white powdery sand being hugged by the waves of sea giving much needed massage and cool feeling to my feet all brought joy in my heart. God is good. Always is and I am thankful for this life I have.

Here's a silly picture of me and Robby, my friend's son. He was trying to imitate my peace sign. He's so adorable! I love this kid.

GPS

The first time I used a GPS device, I was so impressed. I wanted to buy one right away. Last year, we went to North Carolina for a three days vacation and the device was so helpful. One time we got lost and we found our way through the help of the device. Anyway, there's another kind of GPS Tracking and it's like what you see in the movies. Have you watched Bond films, action and sci fi movies where vehicles and people are being tracked through a small device attached to them? Online you can get them for business and personal use. Say, if you are a Mom and you want to monitor your teens or children or if you want to monitor your car for peace of mind, you can do so with GPS. These days, you don't want to regret later that you didn't get one. It's better to be safe than sorry.
