Heya!

It's been almost a year since I posted something here! Wow! So many things have happened that it's so much to enumerate. Anyhow, things have all been good and I'm proud to say that I have accomplished things in the past year that hopefully will lead to better things in the future.

That's all for now. Ciao!

Rainy days and Mondays

Today is a rainy, gloomy Monday and my mood went with the weather. It was kind of hectic at the office today even though my boss was out. Without guidance, work can be very difficult and today's share of workload was not an exception. I wished I was in a different place. Somewhere in the Philippines, Boracay maybe, but unfortunately I wasn't. Good thing there was lunch and my friend/co workers to make the day lighter. I enjoyed being with them and talking of whatever that transpired that day or yesterday. I only took 30 mins lunch but it seemed like I had enough. My bubbly friend as usual had a good and exciting story to tell and we were all laughing while enjoying our meal. After work, I went to the gym and spent 30 mins at the elliptical machine and did some crunches for my abs and a few push ups. It felt good. I sweat a lot.

The drive home was okay. The rain poured but I was relaxed driving. I then received a text message and it made the rest of the drive home somewhat good. It's nice to know that somebody is thinking about me. :-) Anyway, it was still raining when I arrived home. I felt some kind of loneliness but a call from a friend made it go away. She told me something that's going on with her life right now that made me feel happy for her. I'm glad that she found somebody to care for and perhaps in the future, to love. Another friend shared a video that made me realize that life has been good so far. It only takes a reminder to make me appreciate again what I have in life right now.

Mondays are not all bad. It may not start right but at the end of the day, it can be good. Like what happened today. Now I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Resurrected...

I guess I'm back again. I've been away for months and thought that I would delete this blog for good but hey, here I am. So many life changing events happened in my life these past few months that made me discouraged to blog. I just turned 29 last December and it made me realize that this year I will hit the big 30. It's not bad at all. I'm not worried about it. Instead I try to look back of all those years that passed and try to assess what I have done and accomplished in my life that I can be proud of. I have gone a long way. I am, to some people, already successful. To some degree, yes I am. But like all human beings, there are still goals and dreams I want to achieve. Life is full of challenges and everyday, our endurance and toughness are being tested. Can I make it next year? Can I fulfill what I have planned to do this year? Or will there be another twist of events that will hamper me to go forward? Whatever happens, I am still alive and somewhat happy with my life. Like most people, I am trying to live the dream. Thank God always.

Have gift ideas?

Well, well... It's Valentines Day tomorrow. Don't you feel excited? There is usually a dilemna though created by this day to couples. What I mean is how to find that perfect gift to make your loved one happy. Don't have a clue yet? Don't fret. There are so many ideas on gifts you can find online. But I will give you two gift ideas that I think is going to be a hit. One of them is the iPOD if ever your special someone doesn't have it yet. Who can resist it? It's cool, entertaining and useful. What about his favorite cologne or aftershave ? I'm sure he will love it and you will love it, too. ;-) If he is into sports, why not buy something that is related to his sport. But whatever it is, I'm sure he will appreciate whatever you will give him. Isn't it the thought that counts?

Thanksgiving!

There's so much to thank about and Thanksgiving again reminded us of that. Family, friends, good life all are things that are the most important and I am grateful for having all of these. I am an immigrant of this country and so I am very thankful that this country and it's people embraced me. Earlier this year I just became a citizen and voted in November for the first time. I was proud to be able to participate in the election of the next President of the US and hopefully can contribute to the betterment of this country.

Report a Phone Number

I talked about reverse phone lookup yesterday but now, let me talk about reporting annoying numbers. Try to visit www.reportphonenumbers.com and you will see that you can report annoying numbers that you want other people to be aware of. You can post your comments, opinions and most importantly your experience from those numbers. There are tons already listed on that site and you might want to look up yours.

Junk Mails

Junk. I got so many junk mails in my mailbox. I haven't received a Victoria Secret mail for a while now. I wonder if the change of address I made went through the net. It didn't probably. I miss those coupons they send out periodically that offers free cotton panties. Funny? Not really. I love their panties. They're cute, durable and very comfortable to wear. Anyway, I got a holiday discount offer from NY and Company. They offering 30% discount for purchases made now through December 1st. Hmm, Thanksgiving is coming too but I don't think I have much to spend. Again, I didn't prepare for the holidays. Some people are really wise. They save money just for the holidays. Oh well...

NC web design

In this very competitive world, businesses has to keep updated with the latest marketing technology to be able to gain more customers and to reach their goals. One way is to position their businesses in the web to gain more market reach. But to be able to do that, they should use a service that will build a website for them that gets results and that's how charlotte nc web design will be able to help.

Tocino

Tonight I had homemade Tocino for dinner at a friend's house. That was really good! So different than the tocino for sale at a Filipino store. It was really moist, tender and just the right taste. Sweet and Salty. My friend can really cook. Everytime she cooks, it's always very good. Hmmm, I wonder when I will be able to cook like her. I know I don't have time but maybe in the future I can afford to stop working and just concentrate on house skills. lol! Well, for those who aren't familiar with it, click the below link and you will see a picture of peppered tocino from wbelmonte. Very interesting... I haven't tried that.

Nationwide Phone Lookup

Are you familiar with Nationwide Phone Lookup? I'd never never thought of that before until I stumbled upon it on the internet. How does it work? Well, just type in the 3 digits area code and the 7 digits phone number and it'll be searched through the database until it finds the exact match and the address of that number. It can look up any kind phone numbers. Whatever the reason is, this is the best way to look up an address of whatever phone number you have.
