My first post

I'm all excited about this new blog of mine. Got the template from Finalsense.com. I'm still a neophyte in terms of tweaking the background, layout and style but I'm learning a few tricks like getting a free template from a site in the net. Also, I have my own domain now. For people who aren't familiar with it, notice my blog address. It's dabawenyako.com instead of dabawenyako.blogspot.com. I paid a little bit for it but it's better because now I have my own address. How did I pick the name? Well, I was born and raised in Davao City, Philippines and a native woman over there is called a Dabawenya. I'm proud to be one although my parents came from two different places in the Philippines, Iloilo and Bohol. Now, so much for that. I still have a long way to go here. Ciao!
