Sparkle at SocialSpark
Yes, you as a blogger can sparkle at SocialSpark. Don't laugh. This is serious business. Maybe you are not a serious blogger like I am. But it's time to be serious and be open to a new opportunity that IZEA, the creator of p-p-p is offering to all bloggers out there. You will never know what this new social marketing network is going to do for you and your blogger friends and for advertisers as well. What's unique is that it's encouraging socialization between bloggers, advertisers and the IZEA team. That's really cool because it opens up more opportunity to meet and build your social network thus helping not only you but everybody in this blogging industry. There, I am saying it. The Blogging Industry as I call it need this kind of idea. This industry has grown exponentially over the past year that I can't stop myself from heeding to my calling, which is to write about nonsense stuff. Lol! Just kidding. Check my own profile and see for yourself my stats and all. It's not very impressive but it's a start. Wasn't expecting it but I find SocialSpark a fun place to be! Try it by creating a profile and visit other bloggers and even advertisers' profiles and see what I am talking about.

Mental Health Awareness Month
If you don't know yet, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This observance was created more than 50 years ago to raise awareness about mental health conditions and the importance of mental wellness for all.
For the present year, the tagline is " Get Connected " with the theme of social connectedness which is one of the important ways to maintain and protect mental health.
According to Mental Health America and I'm sure everybody will agree that there are many ways of creating and maintaining social connectedness. This includes:
* Get connected to family and friends to feel close and supported.
* Get connected to your community to feel a sense of belonging and purpose.
* Get connected to professional help to feel better when you’re stressed and having trouble coping.
How does one know if a family member or a friend is suffering from poor mental health or depression? What are the signs? If you are having sad, anxious and empty mood, sleeping difficulties, appetite and weight loss or appetite and weight gain, restlessness, irritability, fatigue, loss of energy, thoughts of suicide, feeling guilty and hopeless for two weeks or longer, you might be suffering from depression.
Depression is the most common mental health condition, affecting 19 million Americans. And, a 2007 survey by the American Psychological Association found that one-third of Americans report living with extreme stress.
It's better to talk about it and find ways on fighting this condition. It's time to act now.
