Mongos Flat Hot Grill

One of my fave restaurants here at Jax is Mongos Flat Hot Grill. It's a Mongolian way of eating wherein in you create your own entree and you can see it being cooked in front of you in a big flat hot grill. It's like an indoor cookout basically. Yesterday, my co workers and I went to lunch there and we sat outside the terrace where we had a good view of the St. John's river. The weather was perfect that time. I had some beef, shrimps with veggies and my fave sauce which is Honey Pineapple. Excellent time with friends & great food!

The restaurant has improved the last time I've been there. Now, they will ask you if you are new to the place and they will give out a card with a step by step instruction on what to do. Also, the Fresh Market bar is placed on the farthest corner of the restaurant which opened up more room and easier traffic flow of the restaurant. The service is good as usual but the only thing I missed was the fresh egg that wasn't offered to go with the entree. I'm not sure if it's a permanent change but some people still like the egg. Overall, the experience was very good!
