Mongos Flat Hot Grill

One of my fave restaurants here at Jax is Mongos Flat Hot Grill. It's a Mongolian way of eating wherein in you create your own entree and you can see it being cooked in front of you in a big flat hot grill. It's like an indoor cookout basically. Yesterday, my co workers and I went to lunch there and we sat outside the terrace where we had a good view of the St. John's river. The weather was perfect that time. I had some beef, shrimps with veggies and my fave sauce which is Honey Pineapple. Excellent time with friends & great food!

The restaurant has improved the last time I've been there. Now, they will ask you if you are new to the place and they will give out a card with a step by step instruction on what to do. Also, the Fresh Market bar is placed on the farthest corner of the restaurant which opened up more room and easier traffic flow of the restaurant. The service is good as usual but the only thing I missed was the fresh egg that wasn't offered to go with the entree. I'm not sure if it's a permanent change but some people still like the egg. Overall, the experience was very good!

Seven Bridges

The ladies planned a dinner again. This time it's Seven Bridges at Southside. There were 10 of us ladies and 1 child of a co-worker. After work, I headed down there. Three of my friends were already there waiting for the rest to arrive. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken and I wasn't disappointed. It was very good! The service was good, too. The place is very cozy and inviting. Their menu offers fresh seafood, steaks and pastas, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. With the company of friends and a nice restaurant, dinner was great!

Jax - Taste of Manila

I already blogged about this before in Friendster but since we went there today, I kind of reminded of writing about it again. They don't have their own website yet so at least I can spread the word about this recently opened Filipino restaurant. I have already dined there so many times since I learned about the place and I can say that the place might need a little bit of improvement but definitely they have me as one of their satisfied customers. If you live here in Jax and want to try Filipino dishes, check the place out. wink*
